Introduction
This survey of the skills needs of the biopharmaceutical sector will provide an update to our 2008 published report Skills needs for biomedical research and will inform future priority areas for the Science Industry Partnership (SIP).
2008 priorities
In the 2008 results, each core discipline was assigned one of three overall priority levels. These priorities were based upon a combination of quantitative information and comments provided by companies. Within some areas there was considerable variation, so while these figures should fairly represent general trends, individual companies’ experiences may differ.
Within each discipline, each skill level – non-graduate, graduate, PhD and post-doc – was also assigned an individual priority.
2014 - Where are we now?
Please complete questions for each of the disciplines applicable to you and/or your company. The survey should only take 10 minutes to complete unless you are commenting on a large number of areas.
