Flexible working provision for Retail Managers

I am currently coming to the end of my studies towards a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management; and am required to undertake a research project. Having worked in retail management in excess of 15 years, and being a parent of a pre-school child, I chose to research flexible working within retail. I strongly believe in the benefits of offering flexible working, yet have little experience of this being available to retail managers. I hope you can share your experiences with me.
