Social Media and Travel
I am a final year student studying Tourism Management with Events at Manchester Metropolitan University. I am conducting a study to evaluate the influence of social media driving consumer behaviour for my dissertation. Social media is a term commonly associated with online platforms that allows anyone to create, share and interact with a wide range of digital content. Social media technologies take on many different forms including social networking sites (Facebook), social messaging (Snapchat), social blogs and micro blogs (Twitter), media sharing sites or apps that enable you to upload or share media (Instagram), Wikis, Internet forums, consumer rating and review sites as well as websites that help you post content to social media sites (Hootsuit).
