DEL Agency Workers Project - Worker Questionnaire
Background to the research

The Department for Employment and Learning (DEL) appointed RSM McClure Watters to undertake research into Agency Workers Regulations (NI) 2011.

The purpose of the research is to:
  • Assess the impact of the Regulations on Agency Workers, agencies and hiring businesses;·
  • Gather detailed information on the profile of Agency Workers; and
  • Assess the extent to which Agency workers are aware of their rights.
DEL wish to gain a better understanding of the impact of the Agency Workers Regulations (NI) 2011 to ensure that they are providing appropriate rights for Agency Workers whilst ensuring that the requirements placed on businesses are not too onerous.

We would like to assess your experience as an Agency Worker and the Agency Workers Regulations (NI) 20111. The questionnaire covers topics such as your awareness of the Regulations, and the extent to which your rights under the regulations have been provided.

Timescales

The questionnaire will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. For some people the time required may be slightly more, for others it may be slightly less.

We would appreciate responses to this questionnaire before Friday 11th October.

Confidentiality

All responses will be treated in confidence.  Although information provided in this questionnaire may be presented in the research report, this will be in summary form.  It will not be possible to identify details about any specific individual or organisation.

We very much appreciate the investment of your time in this important research.
