Fort Bovisand Trust has received initial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) to develop the Fort Bovisand heritage visitor attraction, located on the eastern side of the Plymouth Sound about 5 miles from Plymouth city centre. The Trust's vision is to see a Fort Bovisand brought back to life, offering a place to visit, to learn and to enjoy time spent at this stunning coastal location.
The aim is to tell the story of the history of this nationally significant heritage site - including its role in defending Plymouth in WW1 and WW2. Visitors will also find out why diving from Fort Bovisand is so special: including the importance of the marine ecology around the site and the shipwrecks of the Plymouth Sound and the stories they tell.
Please complete this questionnaire to help us with our planning for the heritage visitor attraction - it will take around 5 to 7 minutes.
With many thanks for your time
