Hi, My name is Nicola and I have devised this survey as part of my research project, which I have chosen to be about complaints procedures. It is completely informal, so rest assured your answers and any comments you make will go no further than my little project! Just as an intro..... it occurred to me when reading about scandals like that at Winterbourne View, and through the course of my work as a carer, that it is so so difficult for many who receive care and support services to use the complaints procedures that are provided to them, for a variety of reasons. These reasons might be physical or psychological - or circumstantial. Please let me know your views if you don't like a particular question, or think I have left out a pertinent issue which could have been included. This really is a 'test-run'! I would really appreciate it if you could spare a few moments to take a look at it and give it a try. There are only 10 questions, so not too bad!
