Glasgow City Council are proposing parking controls in the Kelvinside and Kelvindale area of the city, to support the policies outlined in the Glasgow Transport Strategy. The Strategy aims to prioritise resident parking and deliver the transition to a net zero carbon, clean and sustainable city. It also aims to deliver the city’s target to reduce car vehicle kilometres by at least 30% by 2030.
As part of the proposals to introduce parking controls in the area, the Council have committed to conduct community engagement to gather your views on the proposals.
The purpose of this survey is to allow the Council to obtain feedback on the proposals and to try to rectify key issues, prior to conducting a statutory consultation associated with a Traffic Regulation Order.
We would welcome the views of the Kelvinside and Kelvindale residents, business owners and visitors to the area on the proposals.
