Informed Consent for Participation in a Research Project The Business School, Bournemouth University An analysis of the influence of social media upon consumer behaviour in the UK You are invited to participate in a research study conducted by Sophie Marsh. The purpose of this research is to gain an understanding of the effect of social media on consumer spending habits. Your participation will involve answering 16 short questions. The survey should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. There are no known risks for you associated with this research. There are no known benefits to you that would result from your participation in this research. All responses to the survey will remain anonymous and confidential. Your participation in this research project is voluntary. You may choose not to participate and you may withdraw your consent to participate at any time. You will not be penalised in any way should you decide not to participate or to withdraw from this study.
