Are You A Carer? A carer is someone who provides support to family or a friend who could not manage without this help. This could be caring for a relative, partner or friend who is ill, frail, disabled or has mental health or substance misuse problems. Many carers find it difficult to see their caring role as separate from the relationship they have with the person they care for. This survey relates to adult carers looking after adults and to adult carers looking after a child or young person with a disability or additional need. Worcestershire Association of Carers is a registered charity that was founded in 1997.
