The purpose of the survey is to ensure SMEs and micro-businesses, particularly those in rural areas, are supported to highlight their specific ICT Digital skills needs. There is increasing demand for specialist skills from a wide range of private, public and third sector organisations. New Anglia’s Digital Tech Sector Skills Plan estimates that 10,000 technical roles – both new and to replace existing positions – will be needed in Norfolk and Suffolk by 2024. Employers continue to report ICT/Digital skills shortages, which are adversely affecting their business growth. To understand what the skills shortages are in Norfolk we are seeking the views of your organisation. Your vital responses will generate the evidence base around training/skills shortages. We will be establishing some focus groups and 1:1 meetings over the coming months, which we hope you will be part of. We are, therefore, seeking your response to this survey.
