The Education Policy Institute is an independent, impartial and evidence-based research institute that aims to promote high quality education outcomes for all children and young people, regardless of social backgrounds.

We typically recruit undergraduates entering their final year of study, but we are open to applications from those at other life stages (for example: recent graduates, apprenticeship graduates or career changers). We welcome applicants with an interest in education/public policy/economics who are looking to develop their quantitative research skills or those with experience in mathematics/statistics/computer or data science who would like to apply their skills to social problems. The internship will last 6 – 12 weeks between July and September with the exact start and end dates being tailored to the successful candidate(s).

Interviews will take place week commencing 16th June. If you are shortlisted for an interview you will be required to undertake a short data exercise on the day of the interview. In-person interviews are preferred but online interviews can be arranged if necessary.

Note that if answers to the questions with a 200 word limit exceed this, only the first 200 words will be reviewed.
