Wharfdale Way and Boakes Drive Canal Side Improvements Survey

With the Stroudwater Canal set to be restored from Stonehouse Ocean up to Saul there is an exciting opportunity to make Stonehouse a canal town again. Stroud District and Stonehouse Town Councils are working together to improve 3 sites by the canal.The aim is to make these public open spaces more inviting for people and wildlife as well as helping Stonehouse benefit from the canal restoration. Stroud Valleys Canal Company is also looking to provide moorings along this stretch of the canal, creating a great opportunity to really connect Stonehouse to the canal.
