Guidance on the procedure for excluding a pupil can be found in the DfE document Exclusion from maintained school, academies and pupil referral units in England 2017.Schools are required to report details of all exclusions /suspensions to the Local Authority (including lunch-time suspensions).This form should be completed as fully and accurately as possible and submitted within one school day of the exclusion.
