Having the opportunity to speak with someone else living with HIV (peer support) can be extremely helpful in the first few weeks after diagnosis, or at any time, no matter how long someone has been living with HIV. Our peer support team are trained professionals who are happy to share their lived experiences, offer support, information, signposting and referrals to other support services. The peer support team work alongside health advisors, nurses and doctors to support the non-medical aspects of your care.
The service is provided in partnership with PositivelyUK, Plushealth, NAZ and Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and is for people who receive their treatment and care at at the following locations:
- 56 Dean Street
- 10 Hammersmith Broadway
- Kobler clinic, St Stephens Centre, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital
- Ron Johnson ward, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital
- Twickenham House, West Middlesex Hospital
