Club Accreditation

The British Cycling Club Development Programme is an inclusive programme that all clubs can be part of and access a range of benefits for your club.

The new Club Development Programme has replaced the previous Clubmark programme and is a new initiative to recognise, reward and enhance clubs that can demonstrate that they are fun, inclusive, and safe.

Clubs delivering activity for under 18s will still be recognised as a British Cycling Go-Ride Club.

Additionally, for clubs looking to grow and develop, this programme will support you to do so by offering tailored development opportunities from our network of both national and regional club development teams.

By completing this club development form, you are demonstrating to us that you are operating a safe and structured club and that any current or future members can be safe in the knowledge you are committed to following best practice and operating excellent standards throughout the club.

Within the form we will need you to provide a small number of documents, that are easily attached as part of the survey, alongside committing to best practice in different areas of club delivery.

You will require the following documents:
  • Club Health Check document, which can be found here.
  • Recent risk assessment, a template Risk assessment for can be found here
  • Club Code of Conduct policy
  • Club Constitution, a Club Constitution template can be found here.
You may also want to prepare some ideas for potential club development opportunities.

To help your submission, you can find templates, guidance and downloadable resources HERE

For more information about the Club Development Programme, or for assistance in completing the survey please contact the HQ Club Development Team.
