The Houses of Parliament Outreach and Engagement Service's Women in Parliament Train the Trainer course supports organisations and networks that want to access and deliver parliamentary training tailored towards women, enabling their networks, members and delegates to and learn about and engage with the work and processes of the UK Parliament.
Places are awarded according to how delegates plan to use the resource after the training. We will prioritise trainers working with women. We have some simple questions to assess whether those attending are able to deliver the training effectively. We recommend including as much detail as possible in your application. Say how you plan to use the training, how often and who with. We are particularly keen to hear from groups that can demonstrate current work with disengaged communities.
The Houses of Parliament Outreach and Engagement Service hopes that this course and the attached resource will form an important element of the work to strengthen the critical connection between the UK Parliament and the public.
