Glasgow City Council proposes changes to the layout of Kinfauns Drive from Hecla Avenue down to Duntreath Avenue to make it easier for people to get around the project area and make it look nicer. We have based our design proposals on previous consultation with local people as well as data collected from traffic surveys.
The proposed changes include:
- changing the road layout by removing the roundabout, improving road crossing points for pedestrians and reinstating a four-way junction
- moving bus stops to make it easier for passengers to get to the new Drumchapel Town Hall and Aldi
- improvements to pavements and the front of Drumchapel Shopping Centre
These works are part of the Drumchapel Town Centre Regeneration project, which is funded by UK Government and Glasgow City Council and aims to deliver Drumchapel Town Hall, improve Drumchapel Park, enable the development of new homes and improve the area around Drumchapel Shopping Centre.
Storyboards for the proposed changes and the wider Drumchapel Town Centre Regeneration project will be on display in Drumchapel Library from Monday 3 November until Monday 15 December 2025. Paper copies of the questionnaire will be available in the library to fill in. The project team will also be available at Drumchapel Library between 3.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday 12 November. Everyone is welcome to drop in.
More information on the project can also be found at the following link: Drumchapel Town Centre Regeneration Story Map
Your survey responses will help shape the design and help us understand your area even better. There will be another consultation once the project has been progressed. Following construction, we would also like to understand whether your thoughts on the area have changed.
The deadline for completing this survey is Monday 15 December 2025.
Paper questionnaires and are available at and can be returned to Drumchapel Library.
