Use of AI to diagnose coeliac disease

Introduction

A group of researchers in the UK, are developing an artificial intelligence system to help improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosing coeliac disease.

Artificial intelligence can be described as a computer system that uses information to learn and to recognize patterns independently, without human interference. In this survey we would like to ask you how you feel about the use of artificial intelligence to diagnose coeliac disease.

For some questions there is the option to provide any comments, if you would like to do so.

This questionnaire is intended for people aged 16 years and over with or without a current diagnosis of coeliac disease.

All results will be collated and reported anonymously. You can read Coeliac UK’s full privacy policy on the website.

At the end of the survey there will be the opportunity to register your interest in participating in a focus group, if you are interested, thank you.

1. Before today had you ever heard of artificial intelligence and if so how did you FIRST hear about it? (please select only ONE option) *
