If you are applying for planning permission on your land or planning to change the use of your land, please contact us (opens in new tab) before applying for a felling licence.
If you're not planning to restock your site will need to submit your an Environmental Impact Assessment (opens in new tab) decision letter before applying for a felling licence.
You can also provide evidence of your discussion with the Regulatory Woodland Officer. The Regulatory Woodland Officer must agree to the area being unplanted.
