1. Review of Primary Care Interpreting and Translation service for Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham

This survey is only about the Interpreting and Translation service in Primary Care, which is the first level of healthcare for most people. It includes Doctors surgeries, Dentists and Opticians. It is not about the use of interpreters in hospitals. Interpreters can help people communicate with Doctors, Dentists and Opticians and other staff. British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters help deaf people who use BSL to communicate. Through translation people can see, in their own language, what documents say in English. We need your views to help us make sure people get interpreting services when they need them at their GP Surgery, Dentists or Optician in Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth. We need to check that the service is good for everyone using it.
