Proposal

In addition to the brief description, you should provide a proposal in support of your application. Please read the submission guidelines carefully. The proposal should be no more than six A4 pages in length. In addition to the scientific case, make sure you give a clear case for the potential benefit of the activity to humanity. You should also send a summary CV for each organiser, publication details etc.

Budget: We anticipate requests of up to £15,000 which can be allocated in a number of ways, and typically allows for 2-3 day in person meetings for 30-40 participants. We recommend that you charge a registration fee of £150 to contribute towards subsistence during the meeting. Please provide details on your budget below including any other sources of income that you may have or will apply for, for example NSF funding or another grant that you hold.

Preferred dates: Please provide three possible start dates for your activity. ICMS does not hold any events in August. Note that a minimum lead time of one year is normally necessary for events that are held at the ICMS.
