When you appoint a qualified civil engineer to inspect, supervise or oversee safety critical works you must tell us about this.
Reservoir engineering works are overseen by qualified civil engineers appointed by Government to specialist panel.
You must tell us when you appoint a qualified civil engineer:
- As a Supervising Engineer
- As an Inspecting Engineer
- As a qualified civil engineer to report on a reservoir prior to its abandonment to that it is incapable of filling with water to a level which may pose a risk
- As a qualified civil engineer to design and supervise the discontinuance of a reservoir so that it is incapable of holding 10,000 cubic metres of water
