1. Planning Induction Questionnaire
 
 
This questionnaire is for all new members to the authority and should be completed as part of the induction process.  Members are required to complete induction prior to participating at Planning Committee. 
 
The questionnaire should take around 20 minutes to complete.  Information relating to the questions should be covered in the information leaflets.  If you are unclear, please contact the Development Management service for help and further guidance.
 

1. A householder wishes to change the use of a double garage to playroom with an extra bedroom. The car will be parked outside. Is planning permission required for this proposal?

 

2. A proposal for a large commercial building has been submitted. The proposed business would create a large number of jobs. The site is in the open countryside and will be very prominent. There are badger setts on the site at the moment. What considerations do you think should carry most weight on this type of application?
