Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment Consultation 2025

Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment 2025-2028

Liverpool’s Health and Wellbeing Board has published the first draft of its 2025-2028 Pharmaceutical Needs Assessment (PNA). This is a legal requirement to help ensure pharmacy services meet the needs of local people. We’re now asking for your feedback.

The PNA Steering Group welcomes comments from everyone but in particular people who live in Liverpool and use the local pharmacy services.

A paper version of the consultation survey is available on request - please email Public Health or write to PNA Consultation, Public Health, Liverpool City Council, Cunard Building, Liverpool L3 1DS. This will be provided within 14 days of your request.

Please read the Pharmacy Needs Assessment  before completing the survey

We want to know:
Is the information in the draft accurate?

Does it reflect the views and needs of people living in Liverpool?

What happens to my views?
Only restricted members of the council will be able to see your responses. The survey is anonymous and any information you give will not be linked to you.

All comments will be kept solely for the purposes of this consultation and will be destroyed within 12 months of the final PNA being published.

The PNA steering group will review the responses to the consultation and agree what, if any, changes are to be made to the PNA document.

A consultation report will be included in the appendix of the final PNA document. This will provide an overview of the feedback received (no persons will be identifiable) and set out how the comments have been acted upon.

Please see the Public Health privacy notice for more details on how we use your information

Your feedback will help shape the final version of the report, which will be published by 1 October 2025.

Closing date Sunday 24th August 2025

If you have any questions regarding this survey please contact Public Health.
