NHS Rapid Investigation Service for Suspected Cancer Patient Experience Survey

Thank you for agreeing to take part in this survey.   The NHS are trying to find out about your experience of using the Rapid Investigation Service for suspected cancer, starting from your GP referral through to you being told your test results and next steps.

There are 24 questions in this survey and it should take no more than 15-20 minutes to complete.

Completing this survey will help us learn about what we can do to improve the service.

Who should complete the survey?

The survey should be answered by the person who used the service.  If they need help to complete this, the answers should be given from their point of view rather than the view of the person helping them.

If the person needs this survey in an accessible format or translation to be able to complete it themselves, please contact Sue Newell on sue.newell@helpandcare.org.uk or phone or text 07595 424198.

Who is analysing the survey findings?

Wessex Voices will analyse and feedback the survey results to the Rapid Investigation Service.  We are independent of the service so can look at the findings objectively.  We have already undertaken some analysis of the first people to use the service and here is a link to this report and the response from the service.  For more information about about this or Wessex Voices contact Sue Newell as above.
