Subject Leadership Certificate Application Autumn 2021 (Art, History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

0%
The Subject Leadership Certificate is a personal accreditation course aimed at developing subject leaders through the design and delivery of challenging schemes of work. Create inspiring lessons and strengthen your subject leadership. Participants meet their network at an online launch meeting and receive online support through three 60 minute eTutorials to develop new schemes of work, which they will teach where possible. Each candidate has an experienced subject tutor to mentor and support them throughout the course. Assessment is through peer interviews. Two modules are required to achieve the Certificate.

We are currently taking applications for Art, History, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. We will be taking applications for our next cohort subjects (Maths, English, French, Spanish, Music and Geography) later this year.

The three 60 minute eTutorials will take place as twilight sessions in mid January, February, and May and the assessment meeting will take place in June 2022. Exact course dates to be confirmed.

Please note that you must start and complete the application in one sitting as you are not able to save and return to the survey. We recommend that you save your answers to a Word document and add them into the SmartSurvey form.

If successful, your application will be passed on to our subject tutors as a basis for the discussion in the first eTutorial.

Application deadline Friday 19th November 2021, 12pm. We will be in touch on the week of 22nd November with the outcome of your application.
