Support Functions Survey 2025

Dear Colleague,

Welcome to IDR's 2025 survey of pay for support functions. Although these roles may not make as many labour market headlines as some other disciplines , recruiting and retaining them is vital for employers. 

This survey aims to gather current salary levels for selected jobs within:

• Administration (eg Administrator, PA)
• Procurement (eg Procurement Manager/Buyer, Commissioning Manager)
• Finance (eg Finance Analyst, Accountant)
• Various Marketing functions (eg Marketing Executive, Marketing Function Head, Business Development Manager, PR/Communications Manager)
• Customer Service (eg Customer Service Adviser, Customer Service Manager)
• Contact Centre Agents (Customer Support) (eg Call Agent, Complaints Handler)
• Contact Centre Management (Customer Support) (eg Management Information Analyst, Training Officer, Call Centre Manager)

As well as basic pay and conditions, the survey also looks at bonuses, shift pay and recruitment and retention to provide a comprehensive snapshot of the current reward landscape for these roles.

All participants will receive a free summary of the results, providing salary benchmarking data. 

The survey can be filled out in more than one sitting by clicking 'Save and Continue Later' at the bottom of any page. A link will be sent to you to allow you to edit your responses until the survey closes. You can skip sections if they do not contain relevant jobs for your company. If you wish, you can print your responses to review offline at the end of the survey by selecting 'print response'.

The deadline for completing this survey is 12:30pm, Tuesday 29 July 2025.
