Public Application - UQIPI24: UQ for Inverse Problems and Imaging

This is application form for applying to attend UQIPI24: UQ for Inverse Problems and Imaging workshop and CUQIpy training course, taking place on Monday 16 – Friday 20 September 2024 at the International Centre for Mathematical Sciences, Edinburgh. 

Successful applicants will be required to pay a 200.00 GBP registration fee

You can apply for the reduced rate (100.00 GBP) if you are an Early Career Researcher or a PhD student.
Please note if you are from Heriot-Watt University or University of Edinburgh, you do not need to pay registration fee. 

Applications will close 5pm, Monday 20 May 2024. All applications will then be reviewed by the scientific organisers and the aim is to advise participants of their decisions before the end of May 2024. Late applications will not be accepted.

13. Would you like to apply to contribute a talk (25min + 5min for discussion) or present a poster? 
The scientific organisers will review your title and abstract and make decision on your presentation format, then you will be contacted by ICMS to confirm whether you will be presenting a talk or a poster. 
There will be a £100.00 gift card award for the best poster, which will be selected and announced at the end of the workshop. *

16. There are very limited funds available to help you on registration fee. If you are an ECR or PhD, please make your case here if you want to apply for reduced rate (100.00 GBP).

 

17. There are limited funds available to support participants' travel. If you need financial support in order to attend, please given details and approx. amount in GBP below. Travel support will be given in the form of reimbursement. ICMS will contact you at later stage to confirm the amount of support.
