This form can be used to refer someone to Cambridgeshire ACRE for support from our Carers Connect Village Agent.
Our Village Agent, Lisa Hill, supports unpaid carers who live in the Fenland area. She can provide 1-to-1 help for those who would benefit from joining the Carers Connect Hub, an online support community offering resources, chat rooms and live weekly sessions specifically for carers.
Lisa can contact referred individuals by phone to talk them through how to get started online, or arrange to meet them in person at a local community hub to provide a demonstration and support with registration.
We will consider referrals for (the list is not exhaustive):
- Support getting online and accessing the Carers Connect Hub
- Confidence building around digital platforms and online communities
- Help setting up an email address or navigating the internet
- Emotional support and a listening ear
- Guidance on using smartphones, tablets, or laptops for connecting to the Hub
- Signposting to additional support services for carers
- Friendly encouragement for those who are unsure or hesitant about using digital tools
This service is free, confidential, and flexible to individual needs.
