Childcare demand - Parent survey

We are asking you to take part in this survey which is being conducted by Norfolk County Council. The survey is in two sections. The purpose of this survey is to gather the experiences of parents and carers regarding pre-school childcare (0-4 year olds) in the first section, and also for out of school provision (0-4’s & 5-14 year olds) during school term time and during school holidays, in the second section.

We are inviting you to take part in this survey because you are a parent or carer who may have children within the 0-14 age range. We are interested in your experiences if you have child(ren) with or without Special Education Needs & Disabilities (SEND).

You can choose not to take the survey, to stop responding at any time, or to ignore any questions that you do not want to answer. This online survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes.

Your responses to questions will be recorded once you move on to the next page. Your responses will be confidential, and we will not collect identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format – please read our privacy notice for further information as to how your data is used and your rights.

The results of this survey will be used for analysis purposes, inclusion within the annual Childcare Sufficiency Assessment and assist in the update of the strategy for childcare market management in the county. Information may be shared with other NCC officers as appropriate but not beyond NCC. If you have any questions about this survey please contact Peter Elwick, Place Planning Officer, peter.elwick@norfok.gov.uk
