About this survey
Liverpool's Chinatown is a vital asset to the city, with a rich history as Europe's oldest Chinese community. To support the continued growth of Liverpool's Chinatown, a relevant and 'homegrown' brand is needed.

Following the Chinatown Intelligence Gathering Study supported by UK SPF in 2024, we are conducting a follow-up project from July to December 2025 to build up a brand identity for Chinatown. The project aims to:

- Gathering feedback from relevant community groups and stakeholders on Chinatown's brand identity. Creating a brief based on your feedback;

- Launching a campaign to create a logo and marketing assets for Chinatown, inviting relevant, interested members of the public to submit their creative ideas;

- Producing marketing assets, market guidelines and brand strategy for Chinatown businesses and community groups to promote Chinatown's profile.

This survey is part of the Chinatown Brand Elevation project managed by the Business Support Service at Liverpool City Council.
