Introduction
This survey is open to all organisations who form part of Norfolk's Local Offer. That means that they provide services (across education, health, social care and the third sector) to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) who live in Norfolk.
We want to find out about any co-production activities that have taken place with children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their families.
The information that we receive from this survey will enable us to bring together in one place, information about the co-production that is happening across Norfolk and how this is shaping services.
What is co-production?
Co-production is about listening and learning from your service users as you start to plan a new service or when reviewing a service.
It is about reflecting on and using views to review and develop the service(s) you provide.
After a review is complete, feedback should be shared about how service users' views have shaped the service. For example; "you said, we did".
If done well, the act of co-production builds trust and understanding between a service provider and their service users.
How we will use the information you provide
The results of the survey will be summarised in a report which will be available on the SEND Local Offer www.norfolk.gov.uk/send within Views.
If you agree, we would like to showcase the best co-production activities that we find in Norfolk through a variety of methods to help others to learn from what is happening elsewhere.
