Impact of health condition on employment and work.
Academic evidence shows that a combination of health issues, personal circumstances, and workplace-related factors can make it difficult for some people to work.
Long-term sickness is currently one of the most significant factors, with around 2.8 million working-age people in the UK not working due to health conditions, such as mental health - depression and anxiety, musculoskeletal disorders, and chronic illness.
We want to better understand the health challenges/barriers that stops you from working. We would also like to learn about your experience of accessing health and wellbeing services, and what could improve this experience for you.
