Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls in Angus: Strategic Staff Survey
0%

Introduction

Angus Violence Against Women Partnership (AVAWP) has decided to undertake a self-evaluation of the Partnership and to develop an action plan, based on the strengths and areas for improvement identified by its members.

Aims and Focus of the Self-Assessment Process

The aim of the self-assessment is to help Angus VAW Partnership to assess where they are and what they need to do to progress their work to address the broad spectrum of gender based violence. The self-assessment process acts as a ‘conversation starter’ for the Partnership and provides an opportunity to identify and discuss different members views on:

  • the effectiveness of current partnership arrangements and how well the partnership currently meets its intended outcomes in relation to preventing and eradicating violence against women and girls; and
  • any areas where there may be scope for improving the operation of the partnership in order to maximise its impact.

Completing the Self-Assessment Survey

This survey is the first stage of the self-assessment process and provides an opportunity for strategic staff to rate the extent to which they agree or disagree with each of the statements in the Checklist, highlight current strengths and challenges and identify any areas for improvement.

A group of AVAWP members have identified the following questions for inclusion in the self-evaluation staff survey.

The checklist has been reduced from 50 questions to 22 question due to concerns about capacity within teams.
It was agreed to focus in on the themes where the partnership performs well as well those that are areas for improvement.

The Self-Evaluation takes approximately 30 mins to complete and we would be grateful if you can do so by Thursday 25th of April.

It is advised that if possible, all partners should identify time in their diaries to focus on completing the survey. It is important that all members complete the survey so that everyone’s view is represented. All responses are anonymous and members are encouraged to be as honest and as improvement-focussed as possible in their responses.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to complete this survey.
