Minimum rates of pay in 2026

1. Welcome

Dear Colleague,

The adult statutory minimum, or National Living Wage (NLW), rose by 4.1% from £12.21 to £12.71 on 1 April 2026 and is available to all workers aged 21 and over.

IDR wishes to understand how this uprating affects employers across the UK. This poll asks organisations how they might adapt to the latest rise in the statutory minimum wage, or implement the voluntary rates, and examines the impact on workforces.

The information provided will be used to prepare a summary report on the results and we will share this with you as a thank-you for your participation.
