Classification Pre-Assessment

This electronic form is a guide to collect information for the national classifiers in addition to the downloadable Medical Diagnostics Form (please click here) that is required to be submitted for a national Para-Cycling athlete classification appointment. Further documentation required will include any medical documents that are relevant to your disability/impairment.

Classification is completed by a panel of classifiers including medical and technical classifiers. The classification assessment will include a range of physical tests followed by a technical assessment using the bike/trike/handcycle. For your assessment, you will be required to attend in suitable kit and have your bike ready. To be approved for an assessment you will be required to have an IPC eligible impairment (see below) which has been diagnosed by a medical doctor (M.D.).
