Introduction

The Local Offer Team, Health colleagues and Parent Carers are currently reviewing the "Health services for children and young people with SEND" section of the Norfolk SEND Local Offer website.

We want this section, which is already well used, to be even more useful by making it easier to find the service you are looking for. You could help us achieve this by informing us how you would like to search for services.

How we will use the information you provide

The results of the survey will be summarised in a report to help guide how we modify the "Health services for children and young people with SEND" section of the Norfolk SEND Local Offer website.

1. Please tell us which method of searching you prefer? *

Option 1
Search based on service type for children or young people with Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND)
Each service type, such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and language therapy, will have its own web page. This page will give a description of what the service does and two buttons, one labeled "xxxxxxxx services for children" and the other labeled "xxxxxxxx services for adults", the xxxxxxxx will be replaced with the type of service. When the button is pressed it will display a list of services of that type.
Option 2
Search based on type of need of the child or young person with Special Educational Needs or Disability (SEND)
Each area of need, such as Behaviour, Hearing loss, Bed wetting will have its own web page. This page will give information around that area of need and two buttons, one labeled "xxxxxxxx services for children" and the other labeled "xxxxxxxx services for adults", the xxxxxxxx will be replaced with the type of need. When the button is pressed it will display a list of services that help with the selected area of need.
Option 3
Open search
You will be taken directly to the Norfolk Community Directory. From here you will be able to create your own searches for health services which are part of the SEND Local Offer.
