Shifting Paradigms 2018 | Student Travel and Accommodation Fund Application

Shifting Paradigms is an annual conference held at the University of Aberdeen, hosted by the Aberdeen Political Economy Group, that highlights current challenges in economics and a plurality of approaches that can help us deal with them. Shifting Paradigms 2018 is being hosted in partnership with Rethinking Economics. APEG are part of the RE network and were successful in applying to partner with Rethinking Economics.

Shifting Paradigms 2018 will focus on three central themes:
 
- Growing inequality
- The future of technology
- A changing climate 

How policy-makers and economists deal with these issues will have a huge impact on all of our futures. Join us for a weekend of stimulating discussion and debate as we put the future in focus!

Student Travel and Accommodation Fund Application

Rethinking Economics and Aberdeen Political Economy Group are determined to ensure that students are not prevented from attending the Shifting Paradigms Conference 2018 for financial reasons. 

As a result, we are offering a limited number of travel and accommodation grants to students to fund their journey to and stay during the conference.

To apply for funded travel and accommodation for the Shifting Paradigms Conference 2018 please fill in this survey.

The deadline for completion of this survey is Friday 2nd November 2018. After this date, we will be in touch with the successful applicants to confirm the logistics and details of the travel and accommodation.
