2026 User Feedback Survey for the UK Public Preparedness Survey

1. Welcome to the 2026 User Feedback Survey for the UK Public Preparedness Survey

The UK Public Survey of Risk Perception, Resilience and Preparedness is a nationally representative survey of over 10,000 adults (aged 18+) in the UK, carried out annually in order to understand what people think about different types of emergencies, and what steps – if any – they have taken to prepare for them. It is conducted to inform public communications on preparing for emergencies and to monitor longer term trends.

The Cabinet Office is seeking feedback on the survey to ensure the content meets user needs - particularly from those who might use the results to inform their work. These questions relate to the headline findings report, data tables and the technical report currently published on GOV.UK.

This short survey will allow users to provide their views on the value of these statistics and whether the publication meets their needs. Any feedback provided will help inform the future design and development of this statistical release. A summary of the user feedback from this survey will be published alongside the next survey release on GOV.UK.

This user feedback survey is anonymous and we will not be collecting any personally identifiable information.

You must be 18 or older to fill in this survey.

Please do not include your name or the names of others in any of your answers, or any information that means your answers can be easily linked back to you as an individual (i.e. your specific role within a named organisation) - if you do, your responses will be deleted to ensure personally identifiable data is not retained.
