The Chessels and Parson Street Residents' Parking Scheme consultation 2026

About this consultation

Who can take part in the consultation?

Any individual or organisation can take part in this survey. We want to hear from you, whether you live or work in the proposed parking area or not.

If you live or work in the proposed Chessels and Parson Street RPS area

We have sent a letter to all addresses in the proposed Chessels and Parson Street Residents' Parking Scheme (RPS) area inviting people to fill in an online survey. We can provide paper or alternative formats on request.

Each letter includes a unique reference code which will help us to assess both the response rate and respondents’ views in specific locations. Each reference code can be used by anyone who lives or works at the address.

The Chessels and Parson Street RPS area is shown in Figure 1.

Map of the proposed Chessels and Parson Street RPS area. The proposed RPS covers roughly the area bounded by North Street, Cannon Street, Sheene Road, St John's Lane, parts of Bedminster Road, the railway line through Parson Street Station, South Liberty Lane, Winterstoke Road, Gore's Marsh Road, and Luckwell Road. A more detailed description is given later on in the survey.
