NHS Supply Chain - Loan kits discovery survey
Progress bar
0%

Introduction

NHS Supply Chain is currently exploring how loan kits are used and managed across NHS trusts. The aim is to better understand current clinical practice, identify variation, and assess opportunities to improve product traceability, patient safety, operational efficiency, data quality and financial control.

To support this work, we are seeking input from NHS trusts, professional bodies and industry partners. We are particularly keen to hear from members of the British Orthopaedic Association, whose experience and expertise are invaluable in helping us understand when and why loan kits are used in clinical practice, the value they provide, and any challenges associated with their use.

Surgeons and clinical teams are uniquely placed to share first-hand experience of how loan kits support patient care. Therefore, your perspective will help us understand the circumstances in which loan kits are required, the impact they have on service delivery, and where opportunities for improvement may exist.

We would be grateful if you could complete this short survey by Friday 20 November. The survey is intended to gather initial insight into current experiences and may be followed by opportunities to participate in further discussions should you wish to do so.

Thank you for supporting this work.

If you are interested in collaborating with NHS Supply Chain on the Loan Kits project, you will be asked to provide your name and email address. This is optional, and your details will only be used to contact you about this project.
