Part 1 questions are intended for a range of stakeholders, including data intermediaries, controllers, academics, regulators, representative bodies, and consumer and privacy groups. The aim of this part is to understand how different options could help address the barriers to data intermediaries that were identified in our call for evidence in 2025.
Part 2 questions are designed for users of data intermediary services. The aim of this part is to understand more about people’s awareness of the services available to them through data intermediaries. For people who have used intermediaries before, the questionnaire will seek valuable information about people’s experiences with this process so we can understand how well it is working in the UK. For people who haven’t used them, or who aren’t aware of them, we seek to understand how comfortable people would be using these services and in which context.
You do not need to answer every question, but we encourage you to complete as many as you can.
Your responses will be saved if you opt for it, so you can return and complete the questionnaire at a later time if needed. Make sure to submit your final responses by Monday 31st of August 2026.
