Evidence submission for gender pay gap and menopause action plan guidance

1. Introduction

We invite organisations and individuals to submit high-quality research to add to the evidence base for our Action Plan guidance.

We are looking for evidence to help us review and develop our understanding of the listed actions. We also welcome evidence to support any new evidence-informed actions that could help close the gender pay gap or support employees experiencing menopause to be considered for future guidance. We welcome evidence from a wide range of stakeholders which supports, challenges, or further informs the current evidence base for one or more of the listed actions.

We are looking for robust evidence. For example, this may include academic studies, peer-reviewed research, or formal independent evaluations not currently referenced in the guidance, or which were published since the guidance was originally issued.

This is a pilot process for collecting new evidence, which we will review ahead of the roll out of mandatory action plan reporting.

Note: Submissions are for research and academic evidence only. Please do not submit internal monitoring data, case studies, or general feedback. Please ensure that you do not include the personal data of research subjects or any other third parties in your submission, as this could place you in breach of data protection regulations.

To ensure efficient processing, please submit only one piece of evidence per form.

Do not use this form to report your own organisation’s progress. Please include those details when you submit your action plan on the gender pay gap service.
