This research is investigating people's views and attitudes towards the policy known as citizen's basic income, also known as 'citizen's income' or 'universal basic income'. This is a policy whereby the government pays its citizens a basic level of income, regardless of their work status or existing level of income and wealth. This is a research project being conducted by Jennifer Broadhurst as part of her Masters in Research Methods and being supervised by Emily Thomson, a senior lecturer in the department of Law, Economics, Accountancy and Risk at Glasgow Caledonian University. You are being invited to participate in this research and your participation is completely voluntary. You may choose not to participate.You are at all times completely free to decide not to participate in this survey, you may withdraw at any time. Your participation involves filling an online survey that will take approximately 15 minutes. All responses will be confidential and there will be no collection of identifying information such as your name, email address or IP address. All data is stored in a password protected electronic format. The results of this study will be used for scholarly purposes only, primarily submission of a Masters thesis and potentially publication in academic journals or at academic conferences.
