Bristol City Council is working with partners, local residents, businesses, landowners and developers to prepare a City Centre Development and Delivery Plan to guide the long term transformation of the central area of Bristol. This builds on the City Centre Spatial Framework adopted by Bristol City Council Cabinet in 2020.
We are contacting you as a business that is within or near the project area. We want to make sure you are kept in the loop and can help shape these plans through all stages of their development.

This is a long-term project, looking ahead to 2050. No decisions have been taken on the wider plan. As you are no doubt aware there are a number of developments already being brought forward for some areas within the project area. The City Centre Development and Delivery Plan will help guide planners and developers when bringing proposals forward and the project team are in touch with those already bringing forward development.
It’s really important that we have the best-possible understanding of the existing businesses in the area and your plans for the future so we can consider what the potential is for employment and retail space as well as new homes, community facilities and public spaces.
