South Ayrshire 1000 Citizens' Panel Recruitment

Background

0%

South Ayrshire Council, together with its partners in the public and voluntary sector want to survey attitudes and views on public services and policy issues that affect South Ayrshire residents. One way of doing that is to have a Citizens’ Panel of local people who provide feedback on a range of topics and issues that can help influence decisions.

The South Ayrshire 1000 Citizens’ Panel is called the ‘South Ayrshire 1000’ or ‘SA1000’ as it’s the intention to have around 1,000 members on the Panel.

Invitation to join the Panel

If you’re aged 16 or over and live in South Ayrshire we’d like to invite you to become a member of the SA1000. We currently need more people aged under 45 and also more people who live in private or social rented accommodation to join the Panel to make the Panel more representative of South Ayrshire’s population.

As a SA1000 member, you’ll be invited to periodically give your views on a range of topics that affect South Ayrshire residents and thus help influence decision makers.

You can apply to become a new member or update your record if you’re already a member by completing the following application form. Your personal information will be held in accordance with the Council’s policies and procedures for handling personal information and as detailed in the SA1000 Citizens’ Panel Privacy Notice, at https://www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/privacy-notices/
