Naturewatch Foundation has campaigned for many years to ban animal testing of cosmetics and household products. There is now EU-wide legislation banning cosmetics testing and more limited UK law regulating finished household products. There’s still a long way to go until a global ban is achieved and loopholes closed. To signpost people to cosmetics, toiletries and household cleaning products that are not tested on animals, Naturewatch Foundation publishes a Compassionate Shopping Guide with strict endorsement criteria.
