Pre-Application Checklist
To complete your bursary application, please make sure you have the following ready:
1. Course Booking & Payment (Not required for officials applications)
You must have already booked or identified your chosen course before applying.

2. British Cycling Membership
A valid British Cycling membership is required with a minimum level of ‘Supporter’. You’ll need your membership number to complete the form.

3. Safeguarding Requirements (if working regularly with under-18s)
If you are applying for a coaching course e.g. Intro to coaching or Coaching in Context, you will need to have a current:
- British Cycling DBS check
- British Cycling Safeguarding Awareness training
If you don’t have these yet, don’t worry—you’ll need to complete them before any bursary can be awarded.
