Remote Courts Worldwide Survey

Remote Courts Worldwide has provided a broad insight into the digital transition of courts around the world in the wake of Covid-19.

The site was set up to help the global community of justice workers - judges, lawyers, court officials, litigants, court technologists - to share their experiences of 'remote' alternatives to traditional court hearings as the coronavirus has spread. The site so far has been a great success and has served to create a community of individuals from over 56 countries.

We now wish to move the project forward by collecting information from our community to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the response of courts to remote proceedings.

This survey is designed to start that process through a short series of questions which focus on your experience of remote proceedings so far this year, and ask you to reflect on what has been successful, what has not worked and what you think the longer term impact may be.

We would be really grateful if you can take a few minutes to complete the survey, and to add any thoughts or comments that you may have in the comment boxes provided, so we can start to get a global view on how justice systems have adapted in this crisis.

Although there is no closing date for the survey, please complete it before Christmas if you would like your input to be reflected in our first report which will be published in January 2021.

We would also encourage you to share the survey with any colleagues or peers who you think might have something to say about remote courts.
