IR35 Private Sector Reform

1. Private Sector Off-Payroll Legislation Reform

We want to hear from you!

HMRC is reforming the ‘intermediaries legislation’ which could mean workers providing their services through an intermediary such as a private limited company will be required to pay the same income tax and national insurance as they would if they were an employee of their client.

This reform could mean private sector businesses must assume responsibility for determining the employment status of an off-payroll worker and deduct employee NICs and IC from invoice payments.
